Surveying Services Disclaimer

SkyPlotter LLC is not a licensed land surveyor in the State of Florida or any other U.S. state. Aerial data, photogrammetric outputs, terrain models, point clouds, orthomosaics, volumetric reports, and thermal anomaly reports produced by SkyPlotter LLC are provided for planning, monitoring, inspection, and documentation purposes only.

Our deliverables do not constitute:

  • A boundary survey, cadastral survey, or any other survey requiring licensure under Chapter 472 of the Florida Statutes
  • A determination of property lines, easements, rights-of-way, or legal land descriptions
  • A signed and sealed certified survey or map suitable for recording with a U.S. county or municipal authority where licensed-surveyor certification is required
  • An equivalent of any Vermessungsleistung subject to the German Vermessungs- und Katastergesetze of any Bundesland

Where a project requires services that fall within the regulated practice of land surveying, SkyPlotter LLC works alongside, or refers the client to, an appropriately licensed land surveyor in the relevant jurisdiction. Clients are solely responsible for retaining licensed professionals where required by law.

1. Nature and Limits of Our Services

SkyPlotter LLC is a commercial drone services company. We capture aerial data using UAS platforms equipped with photogrammetry, LiDAR, and thermal sensors, and we process that data into structured engineering deliverables. Our work supports — but does not replace — the work of licensed engineers, licensed land surveyors, qualified electricians, and other regulated professionals.

Specifically, our deliverables are intended to support:

  • Site planning, feasibility analysis, and conceptual design
  • Construction progress documentation and visual records
  • Volumetric and quantity tracking for internal inventory and reconciliation
  • Thermal screening to identify candidate maintenance items for follow-up by qualified personnel
  • Topographic terrain visualization for non-cadastral purposes

2. Accuracy Statements

Achievable accuracy of any aerial data product depends on flight altitude, sensor selection, ground control point density and distribution, atmospheric and lighting conditions, target surface characteristics, and processing methodology. Capability ranges shown on this website describe what is achievable on suitable sites under good conditions; specific accuracy targets for any given project are documented in the Statement of Work for that project and in the metadata accompanying the deliverable.

SkyPlotter LLC does not warrant that any specific accuracy target will be achieved on any particular site without a project-specific scoping engagement.

3. Thermal Inspection Disclaimer

Thermal anomaly reports identify candidate areas of interest based on infrared signatures captured during a defined flight window. Final condition assessment, root-cause analysis, and any electrical, mechanical, or structural intervention require validation by a qualified electrician, technician, engineer, or other licensed professional appropriate to the equipment and jurisdiction. SkyPlotter LLC's thermal screening services do not constitute an engineering inspection, a building condition report, or a code-compliance assessment.

4. B2B Services Only

SkyPlotter LLC provides services exclusively to commercial entities, public agencies, and other organizations operating in a business-to-business capacity. We do not contract with private consumers (Verbraucher within the meaning of § 13 BGB). All inquiries are handled on the assumption that the requesting party is acting in a commercial or professional capacity. Where this assumption is incorrect, the inquiring party should disclose this in their initial contact.

5. Aviation Regulatory Compliance

All flight operations are performed by a vetted network of certified pilots, in compliance with the applicable aviation regulations of the jurisdiction in which the operation takes place:

  • United States: 14 CFR Part 107 (Federal Aviation Administration)
  • European Union: EU Regulation 2019/947 (EASA Open Category A1/A2/A3 authorizations as applicable per operation)
  • Germany (specific): Luftverkehrsgesetz (LuftVG), Luftverkehrs-Ordnung (LuftVO), and applicable Landesregelungen, coordinated with the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA) and the relevant Bundesland authority

Where a project requires controlled-airspace authorization, waivers, or special permissions, SkyPlotter LLC will obtain these in advance of the operation. SkyPlotter LLC will not commence flight operations until all required regulatory approvals are in place.

SkyPlotter LLC makes no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of the information for any particular purpose. Any reliance you place on the information on this website is strictly at your own risk.

Pricing ranges, timelines, and capability descriptions on this website are indicative only and do not constitute a binding offer. All binding terms are set out in a written Statement of Work or contract executed between SkyPlotter LLC and the client.

This website may contain links to third-party websites. SkyPlotter LLC has no control over the content of those sites and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage arising from your use of them.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SkyPlotter LLC, its members, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of this website or any deliverable produced by SkyPlotter LLC. Liability for any direct damages is limited to the fees paid by the client to SkyPlotter LLC for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

For services provided to clients in the United States, the laws of the State of Florida govern the contractual relationship, with venue in the appropriate state or federal court located in Florida.

For services provided to clients in the European Union, the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, with venue in the appropriate court of competent jurisdiction in Germany. The client's mandatory consumer protection rights — to the extent the client qualifies as a consumer — remain unaffected, although as set out in Section 4 above, SkyPlotter LLC contracts only with commercial entities.

The applicable governing law and venue for any specific engagement are set out in that engagement's Statement of Work or contract; the foregoing applies only in the absence of a specific contractual choice.

10. Changes to This Disclaimer

SkyPlotter LLC may update this disclaimer from time to time to reflect changes in our services, regulatory requirements, or applicable law. The current version is always available at this URL.

SkyPlotter LLC ist kein eingetragener Vermessungsingenieur (Public Land Surveyor) in den USA und keine Öffentlich bestellte Vermessungsingenieurin / kein Öffentlich bestellter Vermessungsingenieur (ÖbVI) in Deutschland. Die von SkyPlotter LLC erstellten Drohnen-Datenprodukte (Orthomosaike, digitale Geländemodelle, Punktwolken, Volumenberichte, Thermografie-Berichte) dienen ausschließlich Planungs-, Dokumentations-, Überwachungs- und Inspektionszwecken.
